Part of what spurred me to begin blogging was some big life news.

During our most recent vacation together, MBH arranged for a quiet dinner, just the two of us, at the Santa Barbara Yacht Club.

Little did I know there was a surprise waiting at the end of it for me!

And so, as we begin this next chapter of our life together, it seemed fitting to start writing about that life now.

We have a lot of big steps ahead of us in this life we’ve chosen to lead, and I figured what better way to capture them all than by stopping to appreciate them along the way.
