Yesterday MBH and I went to Home Depot to choose a paint color for the nursery. I made him get two samples. Classic Taupe… and Parisian Taupe. Yes, there was a difference. No, MBH didn’t want to ask the paint guy for them. Yes, I won that round.

Kate: “You and the doula will be like teammates. I’ll be the team captain, or course.” MBH: “No. If you are team captain, I’ll be the team admiral.” Kate: “I’ll be the team president. Commander in Chief.” MBH: “I’ll be the team god!!!! Top that.” Kate: (rolls eyes) “Fine. You will be the team god.”
